A bold, fire-themed restaurant menu with 100+ dishes, a folded takeout menu and a matching brand identity for Tarahumara Mexican Food in El Paso, Texas.

01. The Challenge

Tarahumara Mexican Food, a restaurant in El Paso, Texas, serves more than 100 dishes across breakfast, lunch, steaks, tacos, tortas, soups, desserts and drinks. Their menu needed to present this huge range clearly, feel as bold and flavourful as the food, and work both in the restaurant and for takeout customers.

02. The Solution

We built a fiery visual theme with deep reds, flames, wood textures and appetising food photography, then organised every dish into numbered sections with clear prices. The result was two formats: a large folded menu for the full range and a compact takeout menu for the most popular sections. We also designed the Tarahumara logo and applied it to business cards, mugs and staff T-shirts.

Tarahumara now has a print-ready menu system that customers can scan quickly and staff can use every day, plus a consistent brand that carries from the menu to the counter, the mug and the team uniform.

A menu that feels as bold as the food

Tarahumara serves more than 100 Mexican dishes, from breakfast plates and burritos to steaks, tortas and caldos. We designed a large folded menu with a fiery red and flame theme, rustic wood textures and food photography, and organised every dish into clear, numbered sections with prices that are easy to scan.

Takeout menu

A compact menu for the counter and takeout

A smaller folded menu features the most popular sections, such as lunch and Mexican plates, flautas and hamburgers, with dish photos, a thank-you panel and the restaurant’s contact details for takeout orders.

Brand identity

One look from the menu to the mug

We also created the Tarahumara logo and carried it onto business cards, mugs and staff T-shirts, using the same warm brown and red palette so the restaurant feels consistent everywhere.
